Adult Classics

The EFRHL Adult Classics division is now preparing for its third season of low-key, fun-for-all, adult roller hockey.

In order to participate, you must bring proof of USAHIL Player registration/insurance and a check for $25 or $35, depending on residency. If you're not sure yet, just come and watch. Want to join us, but can't make it this week, mail your registration form & check to: EFRHL, PO Box 528, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.

• If you're a beginning skater, or you skate but never played, this is for you. Bring a friend, or two!
• If you're a mom whose kids play (or not), come and share the fun. Husbands are welcome!
• If you used to play, but can't keep up with the "young guns" anymore, you're welcome here.
• If you're a regular player who wants the opportunity to play goalie without the pressure, this is the place. (We'll provide equipment!)
• If you're a regular goalie who would like to take a few shots for a change, we have your backup.
• If you just can't play in the regular adult league, come check us out.

We've even assembled a group of experienced, volunteer coaches to help you on your way. On Sunday evenings, we start with an optional 1/2-hour of encouraging, skating and stick-handling instruction, then progress into friendly, no-check, low-key games with ability-matched shifts.

Required Equipment:

• Hockey helmet with chin strap and full face-shield/cage
• Inline or quad skates
• Hockey gloves
• Elbow pads
• Shin/knee guards
• Hockey stick
• Ego's/attitudes must be checked at the door!

Our 10-week spring season begins on Sunday, April 19, 2009, at 6 p.m.
