Take the New York State Thruway to the 1st Schenectady exit, which is Interstate 890. This exit is west of Albany, so you can join the Thruway at New Paltz or take the Taconic north to join I-90 west, which turns into the Thruway. Take I-890 to the Scotia exit, to Route 5 towards Scotia. After passing bridge bear right, go past the "Jumping Jacks" and take the 1st left turn. The rink is in COLLINS PARK.
Take Interstate 84 east into Connecticut to exit 5 and follow the exit lane straight ahead. At the bottom of the hill make a right turn and take this street to the 5th traffic light, which is Liberty Street. Make a left on Liberty Street and follow it to the second stop sign, where Liberty Street will end at a "T" with what appears to be a commercial driveway directly in front of you. Go straight into the driveway, staying to the left of the buildings and follow the parking lot around back to the right. The rink is at the back of the property.
Take Interstate 84 west to exit
7S, New York State Thruway. Follow signs for the Thruway and take
Thruway south to exit 16 - "HARRIMAN". Go through the toll and
stay on the right to get off at the very 1st exit. At the light
make a left turn and follow this road until you come to the 3rd
traffic light. At this light make a right turn onto EVERGREEN.
Take Evergreen to the 1st stop sign and then make left turn onto
RIVER Road. Take River road until you see MARY HARRIMAN MEMORIAL
PARK on the left just past the VFW. The rink is towards the rear
on the right.
Take Interstate 84 west to exit 7S, New York State Thruway. Follow signs for the Thruway and take Thruway south to exit 16 - "HARRIMAN". Go through the toll and stay on the right to get off at the very 1st exit. At the end of the ramp go straight through the light (you would make a left to go to Harriman Rink, do not confuse the two) and take this road past the police station on left until the road ends at a "T". At the "T", make a laft turn and then cross a small bridge and then bear right when you come to the fork in theroad. After passing the fork, look for SMITH CLOVE PARK on your right. Enter the park and look for the rink in the rear of the park to the left.
Directions to Old Bethpage (Skate Safe) Skate Safe America Roller Rink Take the Throggs Neck Bridge (see below for directions to bridge) and stay in the right lane to exit onto the Cross Island Parkway (you will be heading south). Take the Cross Island until you see the signs for the Long Island Expressway (I-495) eastbound. Take the LIE east to exit 49S, ROUTE 110. At the 1st light make a right turn onto WALT WHITMAN ROAD. Continue straight and bear right at the end of Walt Whitman Road onto Rte 110. Continue for 1/2 mile and make a right turn onto SPAGNOLI Road (Huntington Hilton on the corner). Continue straight for 1 mile and look for rink building on your right. Directions to Throggs Neck Bridge: Take I-84 east towards Danbury and exit onto I-684 southbound. Continue on I-684 south until you pass the Westchester County Airport. Within several miles of passing the airport I-684 will end and turn into the HUTCHINSON Parkway southbound. The Hutchinson parkway will split with the Cross County Parkway in several miles….Make sure to stay on the HUTCHINSON Parkway south. About 5-10 minutes after passing this split, you'll see signs for I-95 south to the Throggs Neck Bridge. Follow the signs.
Take the Taconic State Parkway south to the exit marked "OSSINING Route 134". The exit ramp brings you right onto Route 134 (no turn required). Follow Route 134 past the 1st light (Rouite 9A) and then make the 2nd left turn after the light onto NARAGANSETT Road. Follow Naragansett Road until the road makes a sharp right turn and you should see the entrance to VETS PARK on the left. You should see the rink once you enter the park.
Directions to Putnam Valley Rink Take the Taconic State Parkway south to the " Peekskill Hollow Road" exit and make a left turn at the end of the ramp. Take Peekskill Hollow Road to the 2nd traffic light which is about 7-8 miles from the Taconic in the village of Putnam Valley. At the 2nd light, make a right turn onto Oscawana Lake Road. Follow this road for 1¼ miles and you will see the "Town Park" sign on your right hand side. The rink is inside the park.
Take the NYS Thruway south to exit 16, Harriman and follow the signs for Route 17 SOUTH. You'll stay on route 17 for about 10 miles (15 min) passing through the towns of Monroe and Tuxedo before coming to the town of Sloatsburg. Once you enter Sloatburg, you'll see several lights, the first will be a normal light followed by a flashing yellow light. Go past the flashing yellow light to the very next light and make a left turn onto a dirt road. Follow this dirt road until you see the rink.
Directions to the REXPLEX Rink Conveniently Located Next to IKEA
Directions to Washingtonville Rink Take Interstate 84 west to exit 7S, which is Route 300 south (same exit as for the Thruway or Stewart airport). Take Route 300 south until it ends and make a right turn onto Route 207 heading west. Take Route 207 approximately 3¼ miles and then make a left onto Toleman Road. There is a self-storage room business on the left when you get to Toleman Road. Follow Toleman Road for approximately 3 miles and look for Decker Drive. You'll know your getting close after you go past the one lane underpass. Make a left onto Decker and follow it to the end. When Decker ends it will leave you facing the rink with the parking lot just ahead to your right. |
